Please come to the Killingworth Library on September 7, 2013 to meet Dan Dahlstrom and view some of his paintings. Dan will be happy to answer any questions or discuss his work. The exhibit is at the library, 301 Route 81 throughout the month of September. The “Meet and Greet” is from 10am to noon.
Little bit of background on Dan: His art career started in the family business, Dahlstrom’s Paint and Wallpaper Center, at a very young age. He has lived in the area all his life; primarily in Essex and Chester, Connecticut, and was a decorating colorist for twenty five years.
Dan was a student at the Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts, Old Lyme, Connecticut and loved being around the younger students and learning from them. He was much older than most of the students, and has continued with several of the friendships that he made while he was a student. He also is a member of the Lyme Art Association, Essex Art Association, Madison Art Association, Mystic Arts Center, and the Middlesex Chamber of Commerce.
Hope you can come out and say hello…
