A Facelift for the Oil Painting “Gazebo At Water’s Edge”-the Before and After Versions

This painting changed a little bit–the artist (Dan) decided to take a little artistic liberty and alter the composition and color palette–richer, darker values. And the swans were added–many swans do hang out in this area, and it seemed appropriate to add them to “Gazebo at Water’s Edge.”

This gazebo has been the site of many weddings and engagements, and now the composition depicts romance–could be the cover of a romance novel.

“Gazebo at Water’s Edge” is available at Artisans Harbor, Main Street, Old Saybrook, Connecticut. Please stop in and check out Dan’s wall of paintings, and of course, all the other fabulous items done by very talented artisans.

Wishing you a good one….
