Bridal parties have given paintings done by Dan as gifts for the bride and groom-the place that they got married-The Water’s Edge Resort and Spa in Connecticut.
A groom proposed to his bride at the gazebo at Water’s Edge, and gave a painting of the gazebo to the bride.
The “Old Church at Grassy Hill, Old Lyme, CT” has been the site of numerous weddings, and it is a beautiful location.
The painting of the “White Lilly” was part of a bouquet, and this also can be given as a gift.
You can also commission Dan to do a painting of a special place, the site of the church or reception, and flowers from the wedding bouquet.
Think of art as a gift for the bride and groom or for that special someone on Valentine’s Day, an anniversary, or a birthday gift.
Dan did a commissioned piece for someone that was moving out of their old house into a new one–they loved their old house, but it was not large enough for their growing family. So now hanging over the fireplace, in their new home, is a painting of their first house and home.
